I do not have an idea of what possessed me to leave my Pepper Pen to Shelley just before I left the library before her. I simply had this terrible feeling she might need it even more than I might. I went out earlier than her together with Maggie. Shelley would need to stroll back to the dormitory, and it would likely be dark as soon as she headed for home.
