California Polytechnic State University located in San Luis Obispo is an excellent location to study at. Almost all Californians chose to go here owing to its awesome atmosphere and high standard learning amenities. Encompassed by valleys, ocean, and state-of-the-art buildings within the campus grounds, it definitely a remarkable depiction of where technology suits Mother Nature.
The nice community feel of the campus is totally reminiscent of the small-town vibe of the city where it is located at. California Polytechnic State University, or more commonly known as Poly Tech, lounges itself on a little over 2,000 acres of land. If you want to tour the whole university, better bring a car. It is one of the biggest area to house a university in California and to match that, is one the finest and high-ranking educational curriculum there is.
They have countless of courses offered from different areas of study like History, Business, Science and Arts. Most notably among all, Architecture and Agriculture is their strongest points in the university. Dubbed as the 'Best in the West', you get to use their extensive instructional arsenal that challenges you in to using your skills and talents in different areas of your course. You have to be ready, though. Once you enter this university, you are will get to absorb a lot of information and do a lot of activities beyond the classroom doors. If you want to venture further by doing additional coursework, they have a lot of programs for that. You might get paid as well.
Most of the students there are from California. All of them have this relaxed type of fashion, wearing a basic tee with jeans as their unofficial staple. For someone who came there who is not necessarily from the state of California, however, this didn't have an impact on my social life by any means. The other students are warm and favorablke to anybody and everyone. Their Greek Life is extremely prominent all over campus and if you are hoping to gain new friends, not to mention having a much more varied experience, it is best to become a member of a sorority or fraternity. You can attend loads of frat events throughout the year.
Past the actual Poly Tech university grounds, you can find a lot things being offered. You could check out Farmer's market, eat at the town center, go trekking at dawn, or maybe see lots of well-known singers at their concert events. For me personally, I enjoy that I could simply go to the beach and get me a tan and go to a gig in the evening.
Doubtlessly, it is really a more than suitable place to prepare yourself for the real life. You must bring everything you've got in this university, whether it be within the classroom or perhaps your social life. There's just so much scope in this institution that you would certainly hate to ever leave behind. I know I didn't.
