It's already the third week of December- it is time to welcome a new year, 2012! It's also the time to contemplate the numerous inventive paths to raise money for our 2013 fund-raising campaigns.
Pancake Breakfast
You can start the morning by offering individuals a pancake breakfast. Our neighborhood hosted one similar event on the Work Day. The breakfast started from 6.00 am and went on until 10.00 am. Around two hundred guests attended the fundraiser and we had a reasonable profit of $1,500!
Baked Pizza Sale
Another great 2012 fundraising idea can be selling heavenly, hot pizzas. Set up a stall near your school, office, or home and start selling thin-crust pizza or the deep-dish one to offer options to your customers. Do not forget to keep some of the most favored pizza types,eg the Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple, and green peppers toppings on it or the US style Sicilian pizza with tomato sauce and cheese toppings. Keep as many options (Vegetarian, Sausage, and Bacon to cite a couple) as you can to draw in more folk towards your stall.
A Sun. Cocktail Party
Invite all of your friends to visit the cocktail party. Ask your visitors to pay $50, of which you spend $30 on food and keep the rest as your donations for the night.
Ice cream Treat
Call all of your family and friends for an ice cream treat. Pick up some of the most popular flavors and set a fair price for each. It'll help you collect an overall amount for your cause!
Arrange a Film at Home
You can easily arrange a film show at your house. Get a recent movie DVD from a local video parlor and call your pals and neighbours to watch them. Order popcorn and drinks to entertain your guests and don't forget to handover the donations form.
Host a Golf Competition
Invite all your friends and co-workers to play some golfing next year. During last year's spring, we had organized a small golf competition at the town's nearest golfing course. More than twenty golfers attended the competition. We gave the winner a prize and three consolation prizes to the other 3 best players. Enough money was raised for supporting a cause from the tickets sale and also from the 4 sponsors who happily came forward to support our fund-raising cause.
Provide a Free Car Wash
Set a day to supply free car washing in your neighborhood. Every one of you need to keep a track of the number of vehicles washed and, at the close of the day, count the quantity of donation you picked up from the event.
