California State University - Stanislaus is small compared to other CSUs but is quite distinguished as the other top universities. Academic excellence is the first and foremost, their goal and it is very apparent once you've step foot in it.
Even though it is quite small, they offer more than a thousand courses to your liking. You like Shakespeare? Take Art History. Want to be a businessman and learn Spanish at the same time? Take Spanish in the College of Business Administration. Want to be a Nurse? The Nursing program is very good. There are also courses for post-Graduate students. In fact, most of my classmates came back to this university to further their knowledge.
It also presents one of the most exceptional and honestly, the most efficient student services I've ever come across. They've got qualification programs, a ton of training courses and more importantly, classes online in the event you are too far away. They also give us with the opportunity to know about different countries and nationalities by sending us abroad. But when you are able to go there actually, they have dormitories in the university, which are gated, so you don't need to be concerned about night crawlers.
A few might point out that CSU-S is in the middle of nowhere however I don't agree. It doesn't have that bustling, noisy ambiance that various other CSU divisions have. Nevertheless it didn't really change anything in my opinion. The campus society itself is extremely different and active; I've little or no moment to complain. Activities, drives, functions, get-togethers as well as shows are provided by the school organizations everyday of the week. Even if you are not necessarily the sociable type, you will eventually get drawn in and take part in the events. Head out to the Quad and you might even win free stuff. Want even more? What about the gym, the dining places and the game room? The university life is more than efficient at giving you a good time.
You may also venture outside of campus where you may sample all the different food in the restaurants there. There's also a tanning and pet salon nearby. At night, there are several pubs and clubs that you could go to for a good time. Just be armed with your best friends. You'll surely have a blast!
