UCLA for Students, a Dummies Guide

By Chris Werner

UCLA may be the smallest UC but this little gem on a hill is absolutely captivating. Located in the center of Westwood, you've got countless dining and sight-seeing options. Santa Monica has delicious eats, beaches, movie theaters and more. Hollywood attractions and entertainment is at your fingertips. Locally the UCLA campus has endless parties and gatherings to keep you going all day and all night.

The reason why I enjoy UCLA is because it is a remarkable campus. The professors are very intelligent with world-renowned programs that provide opportunities to every industry. The social scene is just amazing and all the more enjoyable in an incredible city and its fantastic weather conditions.

For the athletics aficionado I suggest you ought to visit the JD Morgan Center plus the UCLA Hall of Fame. It boasts a brief history of UCLA athletics and displays a sports legacy incomparable to none, with more NCAA titles than anybody. Go Bruins!

This campus has it all. There is a student organization for every religion, activity, interest, hobby and culture. Yes, there is even a break-dancing group and a group for fantasy role-playing games. You can find your interests here no matter who you are and where you grew up. It's a huge university for sure but I guarantee you you'll fall in deeply love with it.

Going beyond the weather conditions, the place combined with beautiful people there, UCLA comes armed with wonderful campus safety and security measures. UCLA has an around-the-clock security system and there is an absolutely free evening van service if case you need to need to burn the midnight oil.

What's likewise wonderful within the world of UCLA is that the people there are all extremely hospitable. Moreover, there's a ton involving wonderful dining options on campus made available by Taco Bell, Jamba Juice, Yoshinoya, Carl's Jr, Panda, Sushi, etc.!

UCLA is the perfect university. I highly recommend anyone that may want to attend.
